Roots Down Organic Farm
2 Advanced and 5 Part-time Internships Available
Roots Down is located outside of gananoque, 25 minutes from Kingston. We grow about 10 acres of organic vegetables, 10,000 square feet of greenhouse crops, and a little bit of hops. We market our produce through a 100-member CSA, farmers markets in the Kingston and Ottawa area, and to local restaurants and stores through a local food distributor. 2010 will be our 5th season in operation. We have two types of CRAFT internships available:

Interns will also be involved in CSA management, marketing and farmers markets.
